Brian Moran 

Brian Moran is the CEO and Founder of FLX Distribution. Prior to launching FLX Distribution, Brian held multiple senior leadership roles, where he helped guide teams of financial professionals at Neuberger Berman and AMG to more than $100 billion in sales. During his 20 + year career, Brian has developed a broad perspective due to his numerous roles within the distribution ecosystem, including Wholesaling, National Accounts, Divisional Sales Management, Head of Broker Dealer Sales, Head of National Accounts and Co-lead of US Retail Distribution.        

 

Brian earned a BS in Marketing from Penn State University, and an MBA in Finance from Temple University.  He is a Certified Investment Management Analyst (CIMA), and is actively involved in numerous industry organizations, such as the New York Economic Club, the Investment Company Institute, the Money Management Institute and the Catalyst Group.

Mark Spina

Mark Spina is Chief Operating Officer and President of FLX Distribution. Mark is responsible for developing and delivering cost-effective and customize distribution solutions to FLX Distribution’s members.  He is focused on building an effective marketplace, that efficiently connects financial services companies to proven distribution professionals, in individual and team formats. Prior to FLX, Mark was Head of Americas, Advisor & Intermediary Solutions, at Russell Investments. Prior to Russell, he was Head of US Intermediary Distribution at what is now Amundi Pioneer. Earlier in his career, Mark spent 14 years with Voya Investment Management, the final seven years as Head of Intermediary Distribution. Mark has extensive experience managing sales, national accounts, product, data and marketing teams in the US and globally. Mark has been a Board member of FLX since March of this year. He is also a board member of the MMI’s Gateway to Leadership.

 

Mark received an MBA in Finance and International Business from The Gabelli School of Business at Fordham University and holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Bucknell University.

Eric Nastri

Eric Nastri is a Director of FLX Distribution, Inc. Prior to joining FLX Distribution, Eric spent 17 years in various roles in both the Asset Management and Wealth Management businesses at UBS. Eric has 25+ years of experience in the financial service industry. His experience includes trading, portfolio administration, product management, product development, advisory platform management and most recently he served as Head of the Wealth Management Americas Capability and National Account Management team at UBS Asset Management. 

 

Eric earned his BBA in Finance from the George Washington University in Washington, DC.

Michael Mastey

Michael Mastey is a Director at FLX Distribution. Prior to joining FLX Michael started the Consulting Firm Alpha Spear Advisory, LLC, where as Founding Principal he provides counsel on issues and challenges regarding the distribution of asset management products and services. Michael has held multiple senior level leadership roles in sales, sales management, national account management and product management. His product and distribution market experience span alternative and traditional investment solutions / structures as well as institutional and financial intermediary channels.  Most recently Michael was producing National Sales Manager at PNC Capital Advisors, LLC. He has also led teams at Bear Stearns Asset Management, Rydex Investments, Fidelity Investments and iCapital Network.  
Michael is an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF). 

 

Michael holds a Bachelor of Science from Villanova University.  He is active with his Church Youth Mission Group and the Exchange Club of New Canaan, a philanthropic organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse. He's married with two teenagers and lives in New Canaan, CT.

Ignacio Rosales

Ignacio Rosales is the Director of Marketing at FLX Distribution responsible for the development and coordination of marketing and communications. Ignacio has extensive experience in marketing, customer experience, brand management, and strategic initiatives for business- and consumer-focused firms. Highlights include roles as an independent consultant, General Manager in Marketing & Strategic Initiatives at South Jersey Industries, Senior Director in Segment Marketing at Dun & Bradstreet, and Vice President at CitiCards Youth Market Portfolio.  

Ignacio earned a Master in Business Administration from the Leonard N. Stern School of Business at New York University, and holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School.
