  • FLX Distribution Salesforce Developer (PT/Contract)

    FLX Distribution is a FinTech Company operating within Asset Management Distribution. FLX Distribution's innovative approach provides asset managers a cost-effective model to deliver their investment capabilities, while also providing distribution professionals a path to independence and financial freedom.

    FLX Distribution is experiencing rapid growth and as such requires a Salesforce Developer who will help both develop our Salesforce solution as well as facilitate its use/train our team on usage and related best practices.

    This role will work with our internal team as well as our external partners/vendor companies, to ensure the solution stays in line with needs of the business as well as providing recommendations for the adoption of industry best practices and efficiencies.

    The role will have responsibility for custom coding and report generation. Including meeting with team members to gauge field understanding of the system and specific needs, analyzing project objectives, coding new applications, creating workflows, maintaining user roles, and troubleshooting applications errors.

    While this is primarily a development position, the role will also function as our Salesforce administrator.

    Roles and Responsibilities
    • Recommend, implement, test, and deploy Apex classes and triggers

    • Controlling the adaptability of API’s for integration of information and processes so data flows to 3rd party application and G/L

    • Design & implement web-based interfaces

    • Hands on knowledge to build business processes using Salesforce flows and process builder

    • Design and deliver solution specific training and communication to business users

    • Test and QA changes to Salesforce in sandbox and production deployments

    • Understand and implement integration APIs to communicate with internal/external components

    • Translate technical concepts and conduct complex interpersonal interactions often involving
    moderately to highly complex or technical topics

    • High availability for error resolution and technical support

    • Maintaining the security and integrity of the application software

    Basic Qualifications
    • 5+ years direct experience with Salesforce.com architecture components 

    • Experience in depth Salesforce programming with MYSQL, Apex, JavaScript, Python, JSON, and Visualforce

    • Strong knowledge of APIs (SOAP, REST)

    • Create website layout/user interface by using standard HTML/CSS practices

    • Experience developing customer-facing interfaces

    • Salesforce Certifications (1+ required, developer certification preferred)

    • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical area or related work experience

    • Experience managing projects, timelines, people within a software or SaaS company a plus

    • Experience automating workflow

    • Strong commitment to system and process scalability as well as surrounding governance

    • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills

    • Highly motivated - will do whatever it takes to ensure customer and company success

  • FLX Distribution Web Developer (PT/Contract)

    FLX Distribution is experiencing rapid growth and as such requires a Web Developer who will help both develop our Web solutions and presence as well as facilitate its use/train our team on usage and related best practices.

    This role will work with our internal team as well as our external partners/vendor companies, to ensure the FLX solutions stay in step with needs of the business as well as providing recommendations for the adoption of industry best practices and efficiencies.

    The role will have responsibility for custom design, coding, and the development of related reporting to include meeting with team members to gauge field feedback and address gaps, coding new applications including the creation of related workflows, user roles and permissions.

    While this is primarily a development position, the role will also function as our Web administrator.

    Roles and Responsibilities
    • Design & implement web-based interfaces

    • Hands on knowledge to build business processes using
    Web flows and process builder

    • Design and deliver solution specific training and communication to business users

    • Test and QA changes to Web in sandbox and production deployments

    • Participate in the full software development lifecycle including analysis, design, implementation, and testing

    • Design, develop, and maintain websites and web applications for our membership

    • Collaborate with Marking and Sales on different web designing projects for both the company and
    our clients

    • Monitor website compliance with operational procedures and policies, including security, privacy,
    photos, and accessibility

    • Provide routine website upgrades and maintenance as assigned

    • High availability for error resolution and technical support

    • Contribute to web strategy discussions, offer solutions, and perform other tasks related to our online metrics development.

    • Experience and a good understanding of web frameworks, back-end development and databasetechnologies such as HTML

    • Developing custom web applications that drive business processes such as lead generating
    websites

    Position Summary

    We are searching for a Portfolio Service Director to work out of our Northern, NJ headquarters. The Portfolio Service Team is responsible for effectively providing service to advisors and sales support to asset managers.  The team will support asset management members, primarily responsible for servicing and retaining assets.  Additionally, through data analysis and targeted digital marketing the team will help drive sales for asset management partners, by maintaining and strengthening relationships with clients across various distribution channels (RIAs, IBDs, TAMPs, Wires, Regional Banks, etc.).   This position requires a passion for capital markets, investing and client service. 

    The overarching objective of the role is to build strong relationships with Financial Professionals.

    Responsibilities

    • Service existing relationships and develop new opportunities with financial advisors and registered representatives in the distribution network within their territory 
    • Provide service and sales support, fielding inbound inquiries via phone, email and chat
    • Raise and retain assets within a geographic territory by digital marketing to financial advisers to share sales ideas, provide product information, gather marketing data, offer sales support, providing market updates, and cross selling firm products and services
    • Deliver effective presentations to promote products, services and competitive advantages
    • Follow up with clients after Portfolio Consulting Director/wholesaler visits to provide additional information, obtain feedback about the meeting and inquire about additional product needs
    • Ability to identify sales opportunities through data analysis of sales flows and opportunity reports
    • Develop and implement digital marketing and sales outreach campaigns utilizing social media channels
    • Collaborate and share sales ideas with other members of the Portfolio Service Team and Portfolio Consulting Directors
    • Provide content and sales ideas utilizing the FLX Distribution membership communities on FLXdst.com
    • Maintain competitive intelligence meaningful to the firm and markets and staying abreast of news and media
    • Adhere to the highest levels of integrity and professional conduct

    Requirements

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Investment Management or related field
    • Series 7, 63
    • Minimum 3 years internal wholesaling and/or advisor service experience
    • Existing Financial Professional relationships at RIAs, IBDs, TAMPs, Regional Banks and Wirehouses a plus
    • Passion for sales with a positive mindset
    • Effective relationship building, customer service, communication
    • Excellent social skills and ability to influence others
    • Proven ability to easily build and maintain relationships
